Westman Atelier: The Glowing, Full Coverage Review of My New Favorite Makeup

I came across Westman Atelier on Instagram. The stick-style makeup was so intriguing to me, and when I looked further, their use of more natural ingredients got me hooked. So far I have used my Westman Atelier products three times. I wanted to wear them a few times to be able to give a full review and from what I have seen so far, they are worth the hype.

Foundation / Highlight / Bronzer

I purchased the Vital Skin Foundation Stick in Atelier III, the Face Trace Contour Stick in Biscuit, and the Lit Up Highlight Stick in Nectar.

Vital Foundation Face Stick: Westman Atelier is purchased online, but they make it so easy to find your own shade on their website. I inputted the makeup that I typically use with the shade and they used that information to figure out what would work with my skin. Part of me was apprehensive that it wouldn’t be spot on, but it was absolutely perfect when I tried it. I typically use a liquid foundation, so the stick was new for me! I love how easy it is to apply – I put enough on my forehead, cheeks, under eyes, chin, and neck so that I get full coverage when I blend it all together. After I do that, I will go back to put a little bit extra on any problem areas that I have that day. This foundation is dewy, which is such a welcome change. It is not cakey at all and it feels so light on my skin; my skin almost looks airbrushed when I am wearing it. This foundation enhances my natural glow instead of covering it up – I love it!

Face Trace Contour Stick: This was the product that initially made me want to try the brand. I typically use a powder bronzer, but the stick seemed so much more accurate. This contour stick is so smooth. It is pigmented, but not so much that you can’t buff sone of the color out. One of the toughest parts of contouring for me is getting it to look natural. This stick makes it so easy – one swipe, a little blending, and you are good to go. Like the foundation, this stick is creamy and dewy, and doesn’t make your contour look dirty at all.

Lit Up Highlight Stick: This one I got excited about after researching the brand. I waited and bought this separately because I waited for the restock! This highlighter is perfect – it is shimmery and dewy, and has a very slight pink tint to it that adds a subtle hint of color. In the past, I had used powder highlight so the stick was new to me. The dewy highlight is an absolute game-changer; it is a bit more natural looking than the powders. I also love that it is in a stick – like the Face Trace, you can just swipe it, blend, and go.

Before and After Application

Overall, Westman Atelier exceeded my expectations. Each product is well crafted, looks amazing on, and is so light; when I’m wearing it, I hardly notice that I’m even wearing makeup. Although being light, this makeup covers and wears so well and can hold up for an entire day. I am definitely on board with Westman Atelier.
