I remember when we would wear our dads flannels at school over a pair of leggings with Frye boots. We had the ultimate cozy outfit, but we all thought it was kind of edgy and cool. This year, the shirt jacket (shacket) has come back in, but with a different flare. This year, instead of rocking a flannel print, they have tended to be more neutral (yes, please) with the twist being in the textures. I found this fabulous one from Banana Republic. It has been amazing paired with blue jeans, white denim, and leggings. Honestly, you name it and I have worn my shirt jacket with it. It is the Creme Brûlée color, which goes with just about everything. This specific jacket is corduroy, which I love; it adds some extra texture while still remaining neutral. This is such a fun alternative to an early spring jacket, and there are so many styles and colors to choose from now!
