Hello Everyone!
I have loved finding my own individual style, even if it wasn’t what the magazines considered ‘trendy’ or ‘fashionable’. My style has evolved so much over the years – some parts have changed while others have stayed the same. Despite the changes, however, style has always been my own way of expressing myself. I love all of the different options to choose from, the combinations that you can make, and the impact the you can make simply by showing up.
With social media, we can constantly see what other people are buying and wearing. Finding your own personal style can be easier, or harder, with this depending on how you look at it. For me, living on the East Coast, I always had a tough time finding people who I could relate to in regard to outfits, fashion, and overall style. For those who do not live near the East Coast, it is cold and snowy for about 4 months out of the year, hot and muggy for 2 months, then the other 6 months are a complete mystery that change as the day goes on. There is just no way that you can get away with a pair of heeled booties on a snowy February day like Pinterest seems to think.
With all of this in mind, I created Seacoast Style with the hope of bringing some inspiration to those who live in places with not so desirable weather (as well as those who do!). Enjoy, and lets get styling.
