I am obsessed with my latest discovery. This brand came across my Instagram promoting $50 cashmere sweaters, so naturally my interest was piqued. I absolutely love cashmere sweaters – they add a touch of elegance to any outfit and can be dressed up or down depending on how you style them. After seeing this headline a few times, I investigated Quince.
Quince is an ethical brand that takes out the middle man, allowing for lower prices. They have a lot of items ranging from sweaters to t-shirts, to cashmere joggers and leather goods. After adding some itmes to my cart, I hit confirm and waited (somewhat) patiently for my package.
The shipping took about a week which was I expected. When my package arrived, each item was neatly folded and ready to wear. I ordered two of the Mongolian Cashmere Crew neck sweaters, the Cashmere Batwing sweater, and the 100% Organic Cotton Boyfriend Crew. The three cashmere sweaters are made from 100% Mongolian cashmere and are incredibly soft. I ordered a small in the two crews. I would say that they are true to size. Both have a relaxed fit throughout the body and arms and are slightly more fitted at the cuffs and hem. I am typing this post while wearing the “oatmeal” crew and am in love. The batwing shirt is definitely going to become a staple. It only comes in one size, but I would consider it more on the medium/large side. This sweater is so comfortable. This shirt has long sleeves, but the more you move in it, the sleeves tend to slide up to 3/4 length. The cuffs are slightly fitted, by adjust easily as they slide up (no restrictive cuffs, which is great). The raw hem and neckline add a slightly different flare which I love. This piece is perfect to dress up with denim or to wear more casually with a pair of leggings.
I was pleasantly surprised to try on the cotton boyfriend crew. This feels like you took a quality mens shirt, but fitted it for a woman – it is amazing. The cotton knit is heavy and thick, which would be perfect paired with a light jacket for fall or a warmer coat and scarf for winter. The front is slightly shorter than the back which differentiates it from the other sweaters. I have worn this sweater on multiple occasions already and the heavy weight of it keeps me so warm no matter how cold the New England winters get.
As someone who loves sweaters, I was so delighted with this purchase. Each item fits beautifully and is wonderfully made, while also remains budget-friendly. I will definitely be adding Quince to my staple lineup.
